Dublin San Ramon Services District–East Dublin Water Distribution Facilities
WBA provided project management services for implementation of the Phase I water facilities recommended in the District's updated water master plan for the newly annexed East Dublin area. These facilities were required to accommodate construction of new homes and businesses in the undeveloped area east of the Camp Parks Army Reserve Base. The Phase I distribution facilities needed to match the construction schedule of the new homes approved by the City of Dublin. As a result, the initial reservoir was constructed in the higher Pressure Zone 2, and the lower Pressure Zone 1 was served from the higher zone through a pressure reducing/sustaining valve station at the pressure zone boundary. The project implementation schedule for these facilities was extremely tight because home construction could not begin until the basic water system facilities were in service.
